Today's video is a stunning performance of Prry's anthem 'I Was Glad' performed by VOCES8, Lyyra, and the US VOCES8 Foundation Scholars conducted by Barnaby Smith, accompanied by organist Jim Roman. The performance was recorded at St Luke’s United Methodist Church, Houston, and is part of a complete concert included in the LIVE From London Summer 2024 festival.

The full concert from which this recordings is an excerpt is called 'The Final Sacrifice', and as well as the Parry it includes works that 'weave a radiant tapestry of English and German music from the 19th and 20th centuries, celebrating themes of faith, divine light, and sacrificial grace.'
